You get like always the free printable recipe in the description box below!
Let’s do it!
you’ll need a quarter of a pumpkin which is about 300gr/2-3 cups.
First we preheat the oven to 170°C/338°F
Combine all of the dry ingredients in a medium bowl.
200 gr almond flour, 2 tsp baking powder, and 7-8 tsp poppy seeds.
we’ll add the smooShed pumpkin – i’ve added a bit of oil to get a moosh. if you’re not using oil or butter the donut gets a bit dry and we don’t want that.
i used 30-50 ml.
we’ll add 1 egg to the pumpkin mixture and combine it well and add 2tsp ground cinnamon. grease a donut pan and fill it up with the lovely cinnamon batter.
and bake it for 15 min.
if you want to coat the donuts combine some cinnamon and sweetener in a small bowl. Brush the donuts with melted butter, and sprinkle generously with the cinnamon mixture until well coated.
and et voila! you got a wonderful autumn breakfast to enjoy with the family and don’t forget to bring some into the office and share with some colleagues – because share is care! let your friends know that there’s Christine form the low carb planner I would really appreciate.
